These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by FixOps UK.

1. Definitions
“Client” – the person or business requesting services.
“We/Us” – FixOps UK.
“Services” – equestrian facility maintenance, agricultural and property maintenance, horsebox/trailer servicing, electrical and lighting installation, repairs, and related tasks.
2. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change if additional issues are discovered or requirements change.

Parts and materials are charged separately unless clearly included.

VAT is charged where applicable.
3. Booking & Cancellation

Bookings must be confirmed via phone, message, or email.

Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a call-out fee.

We may reschedule due to weather, emergencies, or supply issues.
4. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion unless a prior agreement is made.

Accepted forms: bank transfer, cash, invoice.

Late payments may incur interest at 8% + Bank of England base rate.
5. Workmanship Guarantee

Workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days unless misuse, interference, or external damage occurs.

Manufacturer warranties apply to new parts.

No warranty is offered on used or customer-supplied parts.
6. Trailer & Horsebox Servicing

A report of work completed and recommendations is supplied.

We are not responsible for hidden or internal defects not visible during inspection.

Roadworthiness remains the legal responsibility of the owner/operator.
7. Electrical, Mechanical & Lighting Work

All work is completed professionally using appropriate safety practices.

We accept no liability for pre-existing or undisclosed faults.

Additional safety-critical repairs will be quoted before proceeding.
8. Site Access & Safety
The client agrees to:

Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area

Secure animals and equipment
-
Inform us of hazards such as faulty electrics or unstable structures
Unsafe sites may lead to refusal or postponement of work.
9. Liability
FixOps UK is not liable for:

Damage caused by wear, weather, or misuse

Loss of income from equipment downtime

Issues caused by customer-supplied parts
-
Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.
10. Photos & Media
With your consent, we may take photos of work for records or marketing purposes.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time by emailing fixopsuk@gmail.com.
11. Complaints
We aim to resolve all issues quickly and professionally.
Complaints may be made via email or phone.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
